This week I finished Susan Schaeffer Macaulay’s book For the Children’s Sake. Now don’t judge it too quick, the cover is a little dated. It’s a good read!
One of the most convicting quotes to me was:
“We tend to crash in where angels fear to tread. We want to push along the work that belongs to the Holy Spirit. Let the child do his own living!”
She says this with the assumption that we’ve given our kids the Gospel. Then we let the Holy Spirit do His work. How difficult but freeing!
