What did you expect?

What are your expectations for each day?

Mine have changed…

-I expect to change at least 8 diapers a day.
-I expect to coax the boys into doing school.
-I expect to put one baby down for a nap only to get another one up.
-I expect to say, “I JUST want to go to the bathroom.”

I asked God the other day why I “couldn’t just put all these kids in school and get a real job.”

His expectations aren’t coinciding with mine.

Then I read this (Bless)…

I Corinthians 10:30,31…“If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that for which I give thanks? So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

2 “Game-makers” for my expectations:
1-I can always be thankful. (Things could always, always be worse)
2-I can live to glorify Him.

We can always be thankful. For Cross grace. For a Hell-less future. For sweet Jesus who bore the cross for us.

And we can pour out our lives to glorify Him. In response to grace.

Expectations for today…That I will live loved by the Creator of the Universe…Forgiven…His Child.

***Just because you need to see how stunningly beautiful this little girl is! Words will never…
